Laundry

In case you were wondering, I did not get up at 4:45am today to run the 5K in Wilmington. Those of you who know me well already knew that.

On the other hand I did have a very nice day, which leads me to today's topic and question. What do you generate a lot of when you are retired, active and live in southern coastal North Carolina? Answer: Lots of sweat and laundry. Today was a case in point. First thing this morning I got in a nice 6.8 mile run, from which I came in soaking with sweat. Changed clothes and headed out for a 15-mile bike ride. Again, came in soaking with sweat. Changed clothes and went out and worked in the yard for about an hour. Came in soaking with sweat. Had lunch, changed clothes and went out to walk nine holes of golf. Came in soaking with sweat. Took a shower and changed clothes. That's a lot of sweat and the hamper is pretty much full.
