The upside of starting a round of golf at 6 am is you can be done by 8:30 if you play alone. The downside is you have to start your round at 6 am. The combination of sunrise golf and no warm up facilities open led to another round front 9. I had only 1 par on the front with 6 bogeys and 2 double bogeys. Things didn’t start much better on the back, despite feeling like I was finally warming up and striking the ball better, I bogeyed the first 3 holes.

Things turned around on the 13th when I stuck my 2nd shot 2 feet from the pin for a tap in birdy. That started off a nice 5 hole stretch of birdy, par, par, birdy, par. I missed a 3 footer for par, on the last hole, but happily walked off the course with 37 on the back and a total of 83.

I see the possibilities.

Next round will be 9 holes on Saturday or Sunday. Need to figure out how to get around that first 9 with a good score!
