This weekend is the Bergen 5k, one of the most competitive road races in the Rochester area. The only race that might top it for number of fast runners, is the Syracuse Festival of Races. Last year at Bergen the top 20 runners were all under 16:30 and the course should be even faster this year with its new layout.
Four Roadkill Racers will be running on Saturday. Jeff, Matt, Chanse and I will all be toeing the line, or the row right behind the line anyway.
This year’s Bergen race looks like it will be another scorcher (running wise)! Boyce has posted the entries list, thus far, on his website if anyone is interested. I will be at the race to cheer on the 4 RKR members who I expect will all fight for a top 25 spot!
